Best of luck Mr Z! You're braver than I am. Just can't work up the courage to press the big red button, even though my town really needs it.

Go for it my good man. And good luck with it. Me I am never going to do it. To much work in my main town to get rid of it now. As for my two feeder towns lets see what happens.

Nothing against one individual player, but how can you accidentally nuke your town? I have seen this said more than once. The game asks you three times if you are sure you want to do it. You would have to be unaware of what you are doing or a complete idiot to "accidentally" nuke your town. Anyway, good luck and enjoy your remodel.

I don't think you'll ever get things exactly how you want, a building or feature is always one square to long or wide or you buildings you want along side each other don't quite marry up  . Well let us know how it goes, take a load of pictures of your new Springfield and try and stick them together to make a montage of your new layout, I wonder if anyone's tried that before :?:

it asks 5 times. there is no way to accidently nuke it now..

but when the button was first released, yes, I can see that. but that was a month or longer ago.

Nuking my SF today! Wish me luck! I really need to move everything around.

I dont think any of you are a neighbor of mine. Filled my list at Gamefaqs. Some of you may post there too though. So it's possible.

I'm kind of nervous, but excited to start the task of remodeling. Hope all goes well.

I nuked mine a week ago needed to make my Springfield nice and orderly.

Thank you for the correction. I haven't went through with it. Didn't have the guts.

Still putting it all together. I really didnt estimate that I would have all this stuff to place!

All buildings are placed. I'm decorating the area.

    Cons: Time consuming process.

Pros: I have consolidated space. Even though I didnt need more room, I created a bunch more. I am putting more room around buildings to add decorations and such. Overall, I'm very happy with the choice I made.

No lost items at all. No glitches that I have noticed.
