friend visits: no free donuts anymore

First off welcome to the forum!

I've gone days without getting donuts too, but usually it would only last a day or two, and in some extreme cases three days.

I noticed if I visit friends at the same time every day, I get donuts. I don't know if it's a thing or not but it's been like that for me.

You kinda got the raw end of the deal not getting donuts for so long. I hope you get more soon.

I dont believe they have changed how it works getting donuts from friends visits, but i havent recieved any from my main towns for a few days now, although i have got 3 from my boys town and 2 from my daughters town the other night, so it could be quite random...Possibly

Hope you start receiving donuts again soon tho

It's the true nature of a forum to being in new members when there is an issue in the game :P welcome!

I often play without sound on when doing my rounds and sometimes don't hear Homer saying "mmm, premium currency" but I can confirm I got two yesterday

EA probably have a specific amount of donuts that they give out everyday so aside from being random this amount must taper down as they are awarded to people throughout the day. So try doing your visits earlier? Worth a shot (or a donut) if nothing else.

Im through until T on my friend list (game just crashed, ofc) and ive already gotten 2 donuts..

i just this morning hit 120 donuts, the last several gotten from friend's towns. hello otto mann!

I've got 3 donuts from visiting friends today. There were very few days when I haven't got any so far. Usually I get 1-2 a day. Thanks to them + the extra donuts from leveling up I managed to buy Number 51 during the Stonecutters event. Since then I keep saving them up and at the moment I have 72. Not bad at all

I am on the same unlucky streak as you. I have only got 1 donut in the last 10 days. Unfortunately it is random, so there really isn't anything that can be done.

I gained 2 free donuts from me friends visits today, so I don't think anything has changed.

The luck will turn, it's just a bit streaky at times.

I found one today. I average two donuts over two days. The donuts are still out there.

Would not know because each time i tried to visit neighbours EA had this (SARCASM ALERT) very unique and wonderful thing called a 'cannot connect to server' or 'lost connection to server' message promoted by Bart. I don't know about you but it's a fantastic addition to the game, it makes it so wonderful and enjoyable and (SARCASM OVER)

In other words, the constant crashing issues and not being able to connect even after hitting retry numerous times put me off the game fully

Is the problem fixed?

I think so, seemed to get in earlier with no issues to see what all the fuss was about with this update.

It seems that complaining works. Today i already received 4 donuts and i am only halfway through with my friendlist :shock:
