the new update did not fix anything again
Kind of. I updated this morning and started the quest lines in two towns. I can't access either. They are both level 43 and nowhere near the item limit. I get to the splash screen and crash right after.
I can however access the "invalid" or dummy town that nearly everyone starts by accident because of logging out and hitting the splash screen as you're trying to click "log in."

Crashing, fail on first login, and no handshakes for days and days.
Opened a case with EA, they sent me useless automated emails for 3 weeks then just closed it. Yep their version of escalation is to close it apparently.
