it does seem hypocritical of people to hate KL yesterday, and then love it today. But maybe the dust just needed to be removed o enjoy it again.

Kind of like an old video game you are just sick of. You shelve it for months. Then one day new DLC is released for it. Now it's fun again.
What seems hypocritical is to gripe that KL is an after thought, then bash the huge update they've made for it like it's unwanted.

Nothing's ever good enough for people who insist on having things to complain about.

I love it as much as any new content that didn't include a wheel of chance. At least there's things i can buy with in game cash. Wow.
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

If they made people spin the wheele of chance it would've at least made sence being it's a game that could actually be in Krustyland. Might have also gotten more people interested in getting all the new items being people always want what they can't have even if it is in KL.

So people complain that KL isn't any good, doesn't have enough content to warrant visiting. Now complain that they just added more content to it. Not sure how to make them happy.

    Naw, naw mane....

Always excited to get new Tapped Out content. But for Krustyland? Come on, we all know once our Springfields get new land expansions and EA can start making new items to fill it that Krustyland will once again be lost and forgotten.

Can't imagine anyone would fall for spending donuts in Krustyland again.

There maybe a couple people on here who go to their KL daily but from the 100 people on my friends list only 3 have all the land unlocked in their KL (mine being 1 of those) and only 22 have it set up to even look like a theme park, meaning paths and rides, etc. where the majority just have everything piled into a corner.

    Worst Update Ever....
    Tl;dr / deleted

You raise an interesting point....tomorrow I will do a data set on my neighbors and see what trends we share. I might have some friend cycles on you so I may pm you for details if that's ok.

You can PM for details although to be fair I compiled my data on July 1st which is before this recent update. I posted my findings originally in the thread below.
    http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/10125708.page#33103177

To go back through to look at friends KL's now would be unfair to the poll seeing this is the only update to the game given and people are now made to go visit their KL's due to the storyline that started. So any new visits weren't started by choice but by storyline progression.

What made me even want to compile the date of my friends KL's was the replies received In this thread below.
    http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/10124257.page#33088394

Which only confirmed that the very few who like KL and visit daily are the loudest and also in the minority. IF and could be a big if (being every friend list is different) we go by the data I gathered just by my 100 friends and the state in which their KL was at the time of visit.

You make many valid points. The biggest (IMO) is that now the test group is automatically influenced by this update. If somehow you took me as confrontational or a loud minority that was not my intention. I do data for a living and the concept seemed interesting.

I got the freemium items for KL there still being built. (Say 7amish they will be complete tomorrow)
Nit willing to throw down on the premium items. I'll wait on Springfiled updates. (Ready for Halloween 2014)

The comment about being a loud minority wasn't direct at you. I was actually surprise by your post since you've been the only one interested in my findings.

Which if anyone paid attention to them it could have possibly answered their questions as to why there have been so many negative threads about the new update. If my friends list findings do actually reflect the majority of everyone's KL's, people just don't care about it and only really want to build up their Springfields.

My own very basic study was very simple to keep track of because only 1 of my 100 neighbors has visited my KL in the last 3 months. They come about once a week. But today I had a second person tap there, I'm sure to start the slow grind of accumulating those precious KL tickets.

Neuroheart was very close at finding the correct answer but you PM'd me the correct answer first.
Sorry you couldn't use the code 1Pound, so enjoy the free donuts Neuroheart

Would make another contest but looks like the Mods don't like the giving away of iTunes gift cards.

As completionist, i did spend donuts on KL premium items. My KL is as nicely decorated as my SF, and I'm proud of them both.

I don't see the need to buy up all the KL land, even though I can afford it (I have nearly half a million tickets). I enjoy playing TSTO at my own pace slowly without rushing to unlock all land at once.
    TSTO Completionist since 2012

There are things I see in other KL that I am not able to get, even with donuts. I'm a new player (couple of weeks before Easter), and not bored with KL. I had just finished the Tooth Chipper, & was going to nuke my KL to redesign. With premium skins for Lisa, Bart & Homer are run in SF, unless quests require them.
After aquiring Sit-n-Rotate all, except the 3, that can be in KL are being run. While running quests, I have now aquired enough stuff for 5 stars. I am planning land expansion for length, don't see going back till more becomes available for my KL. I don't ever see myself neglecting my KL.

I think more characters allowed to KL would speed it up, therefore maybe making it more enticing to those who have been playing longer.

I quite enjoyed KL when I was first building it, it was nice to have something a bit different when I was building my SF at the same time and I have it all laid out like a proper theme park. However, now that it's done it just rather sits there. I have no motivation ever to redo or improve anything there like I do with my SF and I just visit once a day to collect guest tickets and do my balloons to hope for doughnuts (current update notwithstanding.)

I'm a completionist (from the start) aka a $ucker, so I obviously bought at least one of every item. I know we've been over this but I actually like KL.

It's summer....beach, sun, amusement parks. I like krustyland, glad there is finally new stuff. Would like to see more arcade games that are interactive.
