sell premium items for donuts

No opinion on selling premium items back for donuts. Seems like a slippery slope.

Good point. Didnt consider that. Sales would be refunds for those who own the item already. So...

True but at the rate of this deal with the tether-ball i would be willing to take a 25% loss of donuts when selling things back

If they did do that and an item was on sale I would think the donuts that you get for selling it would be at the discounted price not the normal price. It wouldn't make sense for EA to refund at the full price when it's on sale.

You should be able to sell premium items for donuts but at a steep loss. Maybe you get 10% of the original price so then it wouldn't matter if it went on sale or was a prize.

yes we should be able to sell premium items back for donuts not the pathetic amount of in game cash they offer for them now.

it easily could be made to only not refund the whole amount of donuts back or not allow it so it can be exploited by selling during sales

Limited time reverse yard sale would be nice.

But EA doesn't do many things just to be nice.

People on this forum who accidently bought the Solid Gold House and got a refund reported that EA told them they would never be able to get it again. So that sounds like a flag built into the game already. So another thing that would be required is having the game remember what you paid for an item, so you could not sell it back for more. I do not expect EA will implement a sell back.

For accidental purchase they might refund the donuts. But to be honest this deal is worth it. There was a thread on the subject of selling premium items to others. As a way to be able to unload duplicates we get from boxes. Accidental purchases could be fitting for that as well. The only negative to that was they sell less donuts over all since now X donuts becomes 2X donuts. where X is the amount of donuts player A pays player B for the item he/she sold.

A built in in game system to refund the donuts for a premium item would as mention have to track what each player paid for the item to refund that amount of donuts. Otherwise along with free items from the daily login box rotation sale items sold back at full price would be donut profit for the player. Not that it would be an entirely bad thing if we got more free donuts just not from a potentially abused system. I have been unable to think up a good way to do sell back or sell to others system for premium items.

i like the idea of selling premiums for doughnuts, even if you only get 50% back. the problem is again, i sied it with the nuke..... is the flag some of you are asking for, i buy frinks lab at a good price, i sell it to "farm" extra doughnuts, i cant buy it back because it is flagged, now if someone gets wrong town glitch, and they sell everything all those items would be lost forever because couldn't bypass the "already bought flag" sounds good but isent good.
