Are event related jobs a waste of time?

I'm a little late on saying this but.... QUhYW5n.gif to the forum :thumbup:

I have to agree the payout from setting the characters on task doesnt really seem worth doing with the amount of hours you have to wait :? I only send them on tasks while sleeping as it doesnt really matter

    Even though it's minimal, I still send them on Elixir tasks. I'm hoarding castle pieces so every bit of Elixir helps.

    Yeah, I remember payouts being larger for event currency in the past.

    But ive got two million in game cash, so even if it's 3 elixir, it's better than nout.

    I am still working my way through the normal quests so might move across to normal jobs again once I have completed the normal castle upgrades as cash is more important than elixir to me :wink:

    The majority of the characters are not involved in the Elixir tasks or the questline. So if you can spare the Simpsons for Elixir gathering, everyone else can still generate cash for ya.

    Event jobs have always had tiny little payouts, and every event seems to shock us with the tininess of the payouts. Although, I think this event did lowball the payouts because "upgrades" increase them a tiny little bit. Maybe once you get a character to level 25 the payout is normal.

    Make sure you upgrade the characters. They'll make more. It's free. It's still a pitiful amount for the hours compared to my nightly attacks.

    Yeah. In my B-town, I'm juggling ****, Nelson's, Krabappel's, and Brockman's quests. Fun! Cash is hard to come by at the low levels.

    I got Barbarian homer to 24 the max payout is what you get from level 10

    4h 6
    8h 12
    12h 15
    24h 30

    How about the task Steal premium currency? Is it only temporary or after you finish it in the quest, it still appears?

    Looks like too good to be true if you are able to send the Simpsons to get donuts once you collect all prizes

    Ha! I'm pretty sure that refers to elixir, not donuts. :)

    I'm not so sure, maybe it's donuts only the first time the task is given... Gonna wait until tomorrow
