I'll say it again: if you find boredom more frustrating than impossible odds against you, you should probably avoid stuff like school and jobs. Seems like you would be much happier living in a Vegas casino.

I find it amusing that you're making personal judgements about my character based on my opinion over a mobile phone game event. But I'll humor you.

OF COURSE I WOULD BE HAPPIER LIVING IN A VEGAS CASINO! Lol. Who wouldn't? But for the record I hold a very good job and support a family of 4. My opinions of a video game have absolutely nothing to do with my personal life. Thanks for your concern though.

And I agree that impossible odds against me would be frustrating...if it happened in real life with real life consequences. It's a game. Calm down.

Ive finished the stories and only have one prize left, but now it's just grinding away to get that last few thousand gold. Im bored in as much as there's not much else to do other than check in a couple times a day to send nerds out to attack. Im surprised we havent had a new level yet, maybe we wont get anything new until the season premier.

But unless they have more **** stuff to expand the event, it feels like theyve given us WAY too much time.

And yet, in your view, easter must have ruined my life for me to hate it. I can't just hate it because it was badly done.

(And I would not be happier relying on casino odds for my livelihood, to answer "who wouldn't." I prefer boredom to stress. Which has been my entire point about the entire thing. In-game or out, boredom doesn't bother me nearly as much as uncertainty.)

I really hope something happens soon one way or another - or else this forum might get really snarly and mean before this long month is over.

This board seems to get that way about once a month anyway. Basically...this board has PMS.

You could just hate it because it was badly done. I hate **** because I think it was badly done. But your comments about how
Easter sent you into "despair" when you opened the game did make it seem like you were deeply affected.

Oh and btw, after college I've had jobs whether I've been bored and jobs where ive been frustrated over not being able to get things done. Bored, for me, is worse.

FINISHED?! How is that possible? I've been doing this every day since it started and just got Marge! It takes forever to get enough elixir to do a single bloody thing let alone go back and do it again for another character. Gaining 5 gold for single actions like defending a building makes the whole thing daunting as hell when you need over 6000 to uprgade someone.

So, to your question, I am worse than bored. I don't get the connection, I'm not interested in the prizes but now I have to finish it and for the life of me cannot figure out how to make more than a little elixir and a few pieces of gold with 50 nerds every single stupid day.

I thought it was just me. I am totally bored and completely over this event. You can't buy anything with the elixir other than castle walls and seriously how many of those can you buy. I don't want to upgrade my castles anymore because now all it does is increase my max nerds. I don't want anymore nerds. There no fun in sending them out anymore. I even contemplated just leaving my wrecked buildings and castles and abandoning ship until this is over. It just seems more daunting and more of a chore than a game to play this event.

Bored, very bored. I've actually enjoyed the last few events, the anticipation of getting something great from grinding. Seriously I'm not getting the point of this event. I keep playing, it's a bit like a bad book, you keep with it till the end in the hope that it improves. Epic fail, with ugly buildings which will be going in storage.

I don't feel any connection with it, the addiction I've had with other events like Easter and the stone cutters just isn't here for me with this event. Maybe it's me I don't get it, and it seems pointless sending out nerds to upgrade ugly buildings, or get more nerds to continue the cycle. Bored and detached from the whole event.

Hoping Halloween brings something special as I can't wait for this to be over.

As I finished it all on the 1st September i've moved on from the event back to normal Springfield as I have plenty to do because i'm only lvl 35 so far.

I have 100 max nerds and it's so boring to go through sending them out on top of going through 75 friends doing the friends actions too.... it's more than triple the time because when doing friends actions the screen zooms to castle or houses when all I wanna do is tap on buildings for FP.

So yeah i got to the point where i'm bored of it because 8000 gold for 1000 Exilir is pointless.

My bragging rights will have to sit with Homer being at lvl 34 for now.

I'm actually back to building Krusty land that little bus is a good nuke switch. Went on my last raid tonight. Not going past the elixir and don't want the dreaded balloon that don't fly. The raids are getting more futile and just a waste of time for me. At least Wizz Marge made it worth it and was not a last prize. Makes pulling the plug that much earlier and easy on the grind for me at least.

And time has only added layers of bitter scar tissue. No nostalgia blindness for me.

:| I remain dubious that "most boring" can possibly equate to "worst." I've never seen anyone pull their hair out or break down weeping because they had an uneventful day, it's because they're frustrated. If you prefer frustration to boredom, you are simply not typical.

I really just wanted to unlock marge's costume to be honest. I'm indifferent towards this event. I do appreciate that this event and the stonecutters both went outside the box. However I do think both these had very very weak prizes.

I too am bored after finishing the event, and I can't believe for every 8000 gold you earn you get some elixir, what the heck?! It's always been donuts as the bonus prize why change it?

Yep. I don't like this event at all.
Just seems so pointless, get 3 castles but no real quests of note.
The gold and elixir takes a fair amount of time.

I had TSTO from almost day one and have played it since.
When FG brought their version out I thought they'd suck but credit to them they have an abundance of content. Their events now have about 5 different things going on at once.
TSTO has one thing and that is it.
I hope they do better in the next update.
I am barely playing this one at all.

I wish there was actual Simpsons stuff to unlock, not just castle / medieval stuff for this particular event.
