    It started so innocently.

    Understatement of the year! LOL!

I started a feeder town for Whacking Day. I started a second town for my sister ~ 6 months later. who promptly gave up on it. They have taken on a life of their own now.

    BTW- I love your avatar.

Still just 2, but the performance of my second town is pretty poor on my 'phone now. I think **** is a major drag on performance. Can't wait for it to end.

I have 5 towns, and what a slippery slope! Four were supposed to be supportive neighbors to my main Springfield during events and an outllet to try different design ideas, but over time I became addicted to all 5. Then a dark day: I gave in and spent donuts in every town! There's no stopping now

2 here, only b/c of temporarily losing my primary town w/the 'end of Xmas- New Yr.-Winter thaw' 1/14' update... which is more than enough for me to deal with :!: ...Certainly some further solid evidence here of this game truly living up to being life ruiningly addictive :!:

I have 10, but I'm a pretty neglectful landlord for nine of them. It's been a while since having a feeder town was actually beneficial during an event. I used to keep them up more, i.e. make sure that all nine got all the episode tie-ins and so forth but I've been slipping. Unless Halloween or Christmas make them worthwhile to keep current on, I'll probably let them go. Too time consuming and not fun enough.

    I play 3 faithfully.

One I took over from my son who lost interest once Whacking Day was over and the other I started to help a RLF who wanted to play. I didn't like the hassle of logging in an out, so I just got more iPads!

And since I share an "addiction" of having all towns the same, they all went premium, geez, I could've bought my own island by now.

Only one for me - I had started a feeder on my wife's phone way back (Valentine's 2013, I think), but the she took it over almost right away.

Given the amount of time I devote to ONE town I can't imagine devoting more to other towns.

I take care of 3 towns but none were started as feeder towns. Both of my daughters started towns, my older daughter quickly grew bored last summer so I took over. My younger daughter didn't start until the fourth of July last year, she got Rex just under the wire and abandoned her town. Since I was already doing their events and friend visit I figured I might as well do the tasks as well. Now I'm in too deep and can't stop looking after any of the towns.

One main and one feeder that I meant to neglect, but then I added neighbors, and of course I can't leave them hanging, and it was a mess but what would visitors think? So I had to vaguely organize and decorate it and add roads, and all these levels & events keep dropping in, so of course the feeder town must stay current and have all the things...

    I need an intervention.

I only have one. It's all I can handle as well. This is somewhat strange, but I've love to take over somebody's game who has played since its inception but has given it up. I think there was somebody from the uk I think a week or two ago. I almost pm him and asked for his info. I've only been playing since valentines day of this year. I see all the cool stuff I've missed from '13 & '12.

Started my third halfway through clash of clones. I like replaying the lower levels and making new designs without dismantling my first town.

I have three other towns. I started them because my original town kept crashing. After that was fixed, I kept them as feeder towns for events. They remind me how much free stuff ea gives away. Between leveling up, donuts from friend visits, and ea gifts, each town has 100+ donuts.

    I have just the one.

I see people mentioning "feeder" towns... What's the benefit to having those?

Just one. It will be like deja vu all over again if I started another town. One town takes enough of my spare time. Why do all the same again.

Just one. It's easy to find good neighbors so I don't need a feeder town, and Ive never been interested in starting a new town just to keep busy during lulls/lack of content.
