Has anyone else had a glitch where the game occasionally keeps generating prizes after you shoot a UFO?
That has happened to me twice. Makes me wonder if they shut off the ships to fix it or something because I haven't seen any new ships in almost a day now. Also, it took a round of ammo for each extra prize generated.

Yes, I think this happens if you have not performed those 3 friendactions first.
Cause I saw the spaceship. Blew it to bits, and after that tried to tap on the mini-aliens. And instead I got rewards for blowing non-existing spaceships. I don't complain. I got atleast 5 gold trick or treat bags from 1 town alone
it's an half glitch... in fact you can do it till you have ammo...
so, at the end, you only have to find 1 UFO in one SF, instead of looking for multiple UFO...
that's all, when you run out of ammo it will stop ;-)
Was wondering if anyone could answer a question. I have visited most of my friends today and have yet to see 1 spaceship. I cant even clear that task.
Are they just really uncommon or do people have to be at a certain level, or what?

Same problem, no UFOs for me since initial quest UFO in Other Springfield.
I don't now if this is related but:
- I didn't buy Ray Gun / Kodos, so Kodos is still flying over my town
- I didn't unlock all FP prizes (Mr Teeny still locked)

I was in the same situation, and I have seen (and hit!) some UFO.
now I have bought the raygun just to get 3 extra ammo per day, because from the UFO you will get really nice prizes, up to 30 donuts! (and of course, Kodos), and I have unlocked Mr Teeny only yesterday.
Same problem, no UFOs for me since initial quest UFO in Other Springfield.
I don't now if this is related but:
- I didn't buy Ray Gun / Kodos, so Kodos is still flying over my town
- I didn't unlock all FP prizes (Mr Teeny still locked)

I was in the same situation, and I have seen (and hit!) some UFO.
now I have bought the raygun just to get 3 extra ammo per day, because from the UFO you will get really nice prizes, up to 30 donuts! (and of course, Kodos), and I have unlocked Mr Teeny only yesterday.
OK thanks, could be related then to the fact that I don't have available actions at the moment and have to wait until counters in friend towns resets?

Happened to me too. At first I thought it was just stuck on the same splash screen, but then I checked my inventory...
However, this bug can be somewhat annoying too. If I'm out of ammo and there's an UFO in someone's Springfield, I can't squish the little aliens at all, it just keeps nagging I'm out of ammo no matter where I tap. I have to leave the town and come back again to be able to do anything.
Sometimes when you visit a friend's town, you can hear something that sounds like a UFO. Does that mean there is actually a UFO flying to be shot down, or are they just random sounds?

I fortunately didn't have that problem. I moved away from the area where the ship was and was able to squish my last two aliens. I guess the glitch works differently for different people.
Can someone please tell me how I shoot an UFO out of the air? I have ammo and from time to time an UFO flies over my ton but I can't seem to shoot it...

I had something like this happen to me, I tried tapping the UFO about 6 or 7 times until it finally blew up, then when I went to tap a alien, it fired my 2nd shot and I think I got a reward for it.....
Is there a special method of tapping the UFO's to blow them up??

I don't think the UFOs have been turned off, I've got a couple quite recently. If it is a glitch it should be fixed quite soon!

You need to go to other peoples towns and shoot the spaceships flying over their towns.
