I am not 100% sure of this but if I visit my Springfield 3 times a day (7:30,4:30 and 10:30) do I get 720 probes (240 each visit) and also an additional 90 from friend visits?

P.s. This is my first ever post! :-D

    Welcome!

50 aliens spawned in 4 hrs. 3 probes each. That's 150 each time. So 450 probes total. And yes, 90 probes from friend visits if you don't have the license, 180 if you do.

    Incredibly helpful, thanks.

Does anyone know what the deal with Krustyland is? I have vacationing Rigellians in there but don't seem to be able to tap them.

On tstoaddicts I read there is a bank of 30 so 80 in 6 hours 10mins?

Plus extra probes from gremlins and gift bags.

I'm saving gremlins for when the prizes get harder to get.

Those are the same "tourist" NPCs we used to have in Krustyland based on our star rating there, just with a different appearance. Just like before, they still generate tickets, but otherwise are useless.

    Welcome! :)

That seems correct I think and you'll also get probes from treat bags and UFOs

I get the same number of probes Neglecterino described above. Question: Is the increased payout a result of the weapon upgrade?

Thanks, Brett, for a fantastically laid out overview.

Upgrading the nail in board increases the size of the area you tap, it has nothing to do with the payout unfortunately :'(

    OP,
    Awesome guide, Big Thanks!

Question, How does the leaderboard points work?

You drop eggs and click on aliens but how many points do you get for each action? Anything else that goes into the score?

It looks like you get 15 "leaderboard points" for squishing a grem-alien

    Brett,

    Excellent guide. Thanks!

I have one point of contention:

You mention getting different amount of probe rewards for squishing aliens, depending on their state at the time of tapping, whether regular or facehugging.

I get 3 probes in my town, regardless of the state of the alien. And since I have the Hunting License, I get 2 probes in my friend towns (instead of just 1).

The state of the alien (regular/facehugging), doesn't appear to affect the payout.

    Thoughts?

I already fixed this. But, I saw originally it was supposed to have different payouts

    Sweet. Thanks!

Again, fantastic guide. I have already referred it to several friends who had questions.

I have two more questions, I hope you don't mind. Do you know if the Hugo and Grand Pumpkin are going away at some point, when another wave comes in? For example, when the ****/DTD Probe prizes phase out, or when the Rigellian items (Queen, Shrub, Hut) come in. Or do we have the whole event to craft everything available?

Second, Do you know any details on the Grand Pumpkin? I'm assuming it's a decoration. Does it generate money, affect the Conform-o-Meter, or otherwise have a percentage boost?

Thanks. I probably shouldn't skip through the pop up text boxes so quickly.

NBD, I have missed a lot accidentally when tapping on other things, but I don't think there was a notice about it, I just observed that they are programmed to act exactly the same as the old tourists, they just have different skins.

Stellar post! I play everyday and I'm already behind in the probe count. :( I guess it's back to setting timers and such like with the Easter eggs.

I am interested in the appearance rate of UFOs. I now have 10 Ammos and not seen anything to fire at all day.

Does anyone know how often I should be able to find one in my friends towns?

I've read other sites that say the UFO appearance chance is 20-25%. That is what seem to be for me as well.
