So if I'm reading this right and correct me if I'm wrong please.
You want EA to give you 696 donuts that you previously used or had in your old account and apply them into your new account?
If that's it, then it's not gonna happen. You can always go back to your old town and those donuts or the items you bought with them will still be there.

This. As of right now, sympathy for OP is at 0.0%.
Maybe I am crazy, but troubleshooting every step and having no luck with customer support to recover it..
They have a ticket pending to a "specialist" So i guess we will see.
All the workers seem outsourced but then again I don't feel the need to have flawless grammar on a forum
Thanks for the responses.
The game account is your EA account.
Click on forgot password
I always use the same username and email as well. Also same apple id since inception (iphone 3g)
If you didn't make an account and the game was just saved on your old phone, then CS can't do anything. While I'll agree that CS for this company is annoying - I had to figure out my own bug from three months ago, never getting a response back from them - it would be easier for people to fraud the company if they gave you back your donuts. This way, people can't lie and say that they lost their towns and essentially get free items. I'm not saying you did, but I understand why they can't refund you.
If, however, you had an EA account, then ask for an account restore. Say nothing of the donuts and ask for them to fix your game. If they're still gone then, then you can petition, but the donuts should be there if they can restore the town.
I sold that phone after factory resetting it. I bet that did happen and feel I should either get my springfield back or donuts. I never used a different origin login.
The funny thing was 1 ea rep said a specialist needed my mayhem id which i provided and would refund donuts but then went afk or so it seems.
The next rep hardly spoke clear english and said I would get a email in 7-10 days and then a supervisor said he escalated to the the tapped out supervisor specialist and would email me.
I will give it a few days and definitely let yall know the outcome.
If I didn't buy any donuts I would just continue my current springfield as it isn't so bad starting over but I can't even consider buying another donut until this is resolved.
All things considered, I feel everything is in my favor. Surprised there is not a class action lawsuit on this. LOL
Then again $40-60 is not a ton of money but it is more the principal behind it.
Say you bought a video game from EA for $60 and 1 year later you could not play it for some faulty reason. Wouldn't you like a refund or another copy of the game?
The tough thing is they don't know if it is smart to refund the donuts but then again I have all proof showing i did in fact purchase them whether i bought buildings, characters or expedited quests; that should not matter.
