• The GOO count shown near the bottom is the overall total that you've collected. The amount shown in the task book is for a donut reward. They have nothing to do with each other. When you collect 2,000 GOO, the amount shown in the task book resets back to 0, but not the other one.

• This happens to me every time I play the game for the first time after I turn on my iPad, but works fine afterwards (until the next time I turn on my iPad of course). There's no problems when I go from KL to Springfield.
