If you guys accept his friend request, can you send Lisa to release snakes in his town repeatedly? Does that actually work?

Same thing happening to me. It's very frustrating.

I'm having the same problem. It popped up after I crashed while visiting a friend's town. Anyone try buying the premium license as a fix? I've also been playing my town on both IOS and Android since the WD update and the problem is on both. You guys using both OSs?

Perhaps it is a "spoiler" for the actual episode?
-
It is kind of silly, especially since most of my friends have been playing for a long time. Someone actually tapped on my TV News building. Fat load of good that did, hahahaha.

As has been mentioned, you may want to wait a few days before buying. There are rumors of an upcoming sale, and you may get some more bang for your buck in a week.

Ohh yea... d'oh!

I never understand the hate for these characters. My town is so busy that I barely notice them and when I do, I tend to smile. And if you complain about the Burns Monster then why would you buy the Funzos?

When I saw the prices at the beginning, I realized that the doughnuts were way overpriced. I can afford them, but I can't justify spending the money, even though I really enjoy the game. But with continual play and the Christmas Stockings, I have acquired a few premium items (Tire Fire, Bumblebeeman, all of the Xmass/V-Day…

You will get 1 for every time a visitor clicks a Valentine, so don't worry. You'll get plenty of them if you have active friends.
-
It seems to be that if a character is on task, visitors will see a valentine over their "home." If a visitor clicks on that home, a valentine will appear over the character for you to collect it. If that character's task is within the building, then the valentine will be above the building.

I've had numerous valentines on buildings occupied by multiple people (Kwik-E-Mart) but I can't remember if I've had multiples on any one character.
-
Do you have two springfields? This would be the way to test it. Otherwise you wouldn't know if they were midtask or just uncollected. Do you see what I'm saying? I've noticed that I see the most received valentines in my town when I've left it alone and my characters are waiting to be freed from completed tasks. They are…

Plus, getting hearts is more passive than treats or coins were. You could get treats from zombies every few hours, but you never had them pouring in like I've been getting with the hearts. And even with the coins, it took some time/effort to get all your decorations. With hearts, you are all set up. I'm not complaining…
-
My only issue is, the hearts seem too easy to get. Once my friends had access, I had all 3 buildings within a few hours. By the end of the month, we are all going to have a ton of heart. Though, they have been a little more free with the doughnuts lately, so I guess a christmas coin-like exchange is possible.

It's got to be every card. I've gotten too many hearts for it to be the opposite.
-
Just relax. Once people can access your town, the hearts will flood in. You will get way more from them than you get while visiting. We will all have time to get the buildings/planters/etc.
-
When you receive valentines, many are attached to your characters that are on task. I don't think it's connected to buildings like the coins.

Got a few spaces left, ISWThunder

That's the beauty of freemium games. You never have to pay a single dollar for TSTO and you can play as often as possible. The downside is you'll never get all of the premium items without cash/hacking.
