This didn't work for me I'm afraid.
Ugh, sorry to hear that. It'll work eventually, one way or another.

Maybe you have a friend with an itouch that could come over and DL for you?
-
Here's how I fixed it: When the update came out I could NOT get into my game, which is very frustrating. You will need two devices. I used a different device to DL the game and sign into my account, and -amazingly- I got in. A message will pop upand ask you to sign into your original device to avoid losing data of some…

I play everyday and I think my town is pretty cool If you have a nice town add me! Martymasterid

I understand why he wouldn't be voiced, and maybe out of respect for Phil Hartman, they won't include his characters. But with all the audio files, can't they include him with sound? It can't be difficult to do.

Hello: I put a lot of work into my Springfield, and I welcome anyone who's like-minded. I'm on everyday, and I visit my friends at least 3-4 times a week. So if you want, send me an invite, or I'll send you one.

They were asking if it'd be mean to delete people just to add more so they wouldn't have to wait 24 hours to collect more coins. Their argument was that it shouldn't be a big deal because anyone who has put their name out there to be added surely got more requests than they needed.
Gotcha. I brought this whole…

_____________________________________________________________________________________________ I do send out invites. Well, I did when I first got the game. I apologize if it seemed like I suggesting that people should delete their friends once they reach a certain level; that was not my intention. If those 75 friends or so…

I don't think anyone on this thread is suggesting that someone should "add someone, just to collect, and then delete them down the road when they're no longer of use." Basically, if someone hasn't played their town for a long time, then there's no problem with deleting them, and replacing them with someone who will play…

That was my thought too, keep the interesting ones. But then, how many am I missing by not accepting new ones? I think I'm going to delete the ones I know for sure won't play. And I'm sure the people taking the time to send requests send to more than 100. I know before I found the forum I just typed in random names and hit…

I've posted about the bonus thing in the past- it's false advertisement bc I have almost every premium item and I only get an extra few dollars per task when I should get over 20% on top. E.g., on a 1000$ task I should get an additional 200$ dollars but I only get like 10$ dollars. Anyway, that's another issue that I gave…

Nah it's not wrong to delete friends. E.g., I'm at level 24 and my town generates close to 40k a day, so it's not worth it for me to have a 100 friends to collect 4800$... Which takes about a hour to do. When I first got the game, that 4800$ a day was HUGE, but now, I only kept the friends with interesting and well-thought…

Ok cool. Thanks

Agreed. If the problem is solved, I'll be happier. I enjoy the game regardless.

Exactly. They summed up my issue to a monetary complaint, which is, to me, a secondary issue. Maybe I should have chosen my words more carefully.

Jimbo: "You made me bleed my own blood." Yes, this is an old Simpsons quote; it came way before Ben Stiller in whatever movie he said this in. Mr. Burns: "Have the Rolling Stones killed." Smithers: "That's not the Rolling Stones-" Mr. Burns: "Do as I say!"

That's good to hear. Thank you. I don't expect a cash refund, that's not realistic. I was hoping they would reimburse the "fake money" I was owed or toss me a few donuts or something. I just want what I paid for- I'm not looking to get over on anyone.

NYC, USA all day baby

I noticed this yesterday also. I have almost all the premium items and when a 500$ job was completed, I only received an additional 15$. My math skills aren't great, but 17 percent of 500$ should be more than 15$. I feel ripped off.
