I assume you're on xbox, it's a known glitch. EA has acknowledged it, but they haven't done anything about it. They say you need to restart your console when you're done playing so that it doesn't take away extra time. https://twitter.com/MaddenNFLDirect/status/1427049220595453961?s=19…

All you have to do is adjust your depth chart from the main menu. That allows you to use injured players online. I do it every time I play.

This isn't even fixed on next gen madden. It's tiring setting up the depth chart every time I wanna play. Also, after using live playbooks online when I go into my next game, it gives me the incorrect defensive playbook. I even saved it in settings and it still changes.

@EA_Blueberry Please bring this up to EA and remind them that this is a big issue. There are 7 pages of people complaining, I would think that shows that it deserves attention.

It sucks because you only get one pause per half, so if you forget to reset the depth chart before joining an online game, you're screwed. It's happened to me a few times....

Can't put real life footage into franchise because players change teams and it wouldn't look good. Remember years ago when they introduced the QBs with real life footage? Looked weird in franchise if that QB changed teams.

Playing online you only get 1 pause per half, so if I rush into a game and forget to edit my depth chart, I'm screwed... I wish @EA_Blueberry would confirm whether or not they plan to fix it. I know it's not his fault, but he at least seems to have the developer's ear.

Run cover 2 and adjust your flats to drop 10 yards and maybe 5 yards on the hook zone players. Should help stop the late and early throw of the slant. You may have to play with the adjustment depth, but that's my estimate without turning the game on and trying it.

@EA_Blueberry Any chance we can get a fix when they fix the dropped passes bug? I noticed it wasn't corrected in the last patch. I know you have brought it up to the powers that be, but do you know if they intend to fix it? I'm hoping they will.... Thanks!

I'm going to try this. Sucks because I like my highest corner on the other team's highest rated receiver, but I guess we have to work around it until it's fixed.

If you play the play now game of the week, the rosters are updated. They said the update for normal rosters will be around 5:30ish. Little patience brother, we'll get there!

Make sure you're not clicking the right stick (as in pressing the right stick down towards the floor, not as in when you bull rush). Gamers may be doing this by mistake, as I haven't encountered this. I mainly control a MLB, so I don't rush much, which could be another reason that I haven't noticed it. Could definitely be…

I don't even know how to respond to that. I can't believe that's by design. What were they looking to accomplish by doing this? Surely they make roster changes as well when they play online and could see its inconvenient for online players especially. I guess it'll be a few months before we get a fix, if ever.

I'm getting this a lot as well. Using the corner assignment coach adjustment doesn't fix it either.

I have noticed this as well. I didn't know if it was a bug from me using the cornerback matchup adjustment or what, but I have wasted timeouts when I notice my LB line up outside against a WR...
