I got worried reading about this yesterday as I had a 20 donuts reward coming and didn't want it to disappear. Got the message about the reset happening but managed to still get the donuts reward and THEN It reset so I can run through it again - finally getting my 2nd monorail tunnel...

Events are all about having enough characters to grind the tasks - you want to get as many characters as you can before the event starts because they'll be needed.

I first started playing right at the start of a THOH event - the one which started with the "Make-a-Thing Workshop" building and I've really enjoyed them since. I"ve got a fairly good spread of characters now, including some premiums, and am looking forward to the next THOH - since I missed the last one

Question - I just built all the remaining Mansions (classic & modern) and my multiplier hasn't changed at all...?

Depending on time of the week and what else is going on, I can do 4-8 hourly claims except overnight. I normally work to an 8-hour schedule unless specifically required to do otherwise or if I'm grinding a particular resource/quest

Cool, thanks - I've been opening up my SH so used a chunk of that land to drop a pile of purple & blue houses :)

Is there a particular method to the expansion process - build certain houses in certain numbers etc?

No events REQUIRE donuts - and they are usually quite finish-able without any premium characters, so long as you're able to get back on regularly to refresh jobs because they typically require heavy grinding. Yeah, hence the last paragraph of how hard people found doing partial renovations - I feel like I'd quickly get stuck up against the existing parts of the city, just needing a few squares of space, pushing that out, and then everything follows...

I got it too - finally managed to reset my password and get back in to, thankfully, an untouched town and my donuts still there (phew)

Username: PantherusNZ Recently returned to the game after a lengthy hiatus - not sure if I should be glad or annoyed that I rejoined right at the end of an event :D Am a daily player and try to go through neighbours' towns regularly.
