I was able to, got half way through my friends list and the game froze, now they are gone.

This happened to me when i changed my username too, I completely deleted the app so it erased any old springfields on my device and reinstalled it. Signed in and my springfield was back.

I can confirm this works too. I first went down from about 55 to 30, but it still didnt work, then to 25 and that didnt work either, so i went all the way down to 8 friends and the game works again, . Has anyone tried re-adding friends to see if the problem comes back?
