My terrible lagging is gone now that EA has returned my Kang and Todd to me yesterday. Very happy to start my town redesign. Couldn't even scroll through inventory items when the lag was there.

I would imagine they use a small strip of road somewhere on the map to be able to keep track of their characters better. When you get to level 36 and youre juggling 50+ people, one strip of road where they all gradually return to is easier than searching the whole game. Thats the only advantage I can think of...

I had two towns with missing characters and the all came back today. Kang and Todd Flanders appeared from the mountains on one game and Lisa came back (in the brief form of Dr. Hibbert) in the other town. My Lisa reappeared today as well after being missing for two weeks. Got a quest prompt for her and tapped and it led me to Dr. Hibbert standing in the upper left hand corner of my town near the mountains with a bubble over his head. I've seen sporadic returns of Lisa on some of these threads, but it really seems like they are going to string people along with these missing character glitches until the Halloween event is over. I'm totally willing to wait. I can still collect goo from friends, but my town is nearly unplayable. Things not nearly as bad a those folks who have Lisa in the ocean and cant progress the questline. Just disappointed the event has been marred by these glitches and cant enjoy the update like folks who havent been affected.…

I can only dream of losing someone with a corresponding building lol. Instead I get the problem characters haha. I fully expect it to be resolved soon, but it seems like after reading posts on several different sites this is affecting several players. I am the voice of the voiceless -CM Punk

Thanks for getting the gist of my post Airion, my point is that you SHOULDN'T be worried about Lisa's wherabouts! Seems like alot of players are guarded about particular characters and it shouldnt be like that.
