Very invalid. In fact, only soft shelled tacos should be allowed. BUT only if they are corn tortillas. Traditional tacos do not have hard shells. Some tacos use wheat tortillas but authentic ones use corn. Sorry for being technical.

If you are planning an extravagant decorated area, build that relatively at the beginning. Then you won't kick yourself later for not having room for it. But make sure that it's too so big that it cramps everything else together in a way you don't want.
