• Because of the multiplier, the cheapest the item the more XP you get long term. i.e. if you spend 1,000,000 on bushes you'll earn more XP that if you build the big staircase

• The only money that accumulates is the tickets from the visitors (all those characters hanging around). But even those have a limit. I believe their limit is 13 tickets each (if you haven't collected in 24 hrs)

• It happened to me as well. I got exactly 2000 GOO while visiting a friend's town, heard the sound and came back to my springfield. But once I got there, there was no prize. Nothing but the counter reset to 0 GOO :@. I'm seriously annoyed :/

• I got tired of looking for him. I ended up storing Tony Mansion (don't know why, since I unlocked him with the "Legitimate Businessmen Club") and when I put it back, him and Legs appear in front of it (Legs wasn't missing, but since they work together Legs was just wondering around town)
