Life is the bit between being born and dying

You know I can't decide which is sadder in this topic, someone whose life is so ruled by a game that they cannot abandon the pursuit of donuts on the principle that EA are not fulfilling his expectations of Christmas or his belief in an event which has its roots in paganism being a 'Christian event' Before bleating about…

I agree with you. What I have been found is as the events became more prolific I played less. Some of us have busy and full lives.

Whacking day is hiss tory... I remember the 2013 event it was fun.

I actually hated the casino event and the buildings went bang into storage. With TSTO it's horses for courses you can play at your own speed, dip in dip out at will. If an event particularly interests me I'll log in frequently if it doesn't I'll take a rest or log in once a day. Every one has their own favourites, you can…

Orange which I wanted

It stops being fun when you stop enjoying it. Like others who have played this game for a long time my interest has faltered this year so I can see where you are coming from.
-
I agree that is one of the reasons I never bought it when it was offered.

There is a lot of content already available, most 'limited' content has a tendency to return. I think time limited events are an incentive to keep players in the game. Simpsons TSTO embraces all ages and meets all skill levels, you can play the event as you want and construct your town as you want at your own pace. This is…

The game is far easier for new players than at any other time in its history. Each level up brings it's next advancement but unlike today new content could take months to appear so if the story line took time to complete then it added to the game. Premium content has always been optional but it's the nature of the beast…

Well I have to agree that it wasn't the amongst the best events we have had, I never enjoyed it but different strokes for different folks... The mini event has been ok for me though. Every now and then EA brings out a good event like last year's Superhero's and we have 8 months of this year for them to do that. This game…

Probably over priced but each to their own. I don't buy a lot of premium stuff but if I remember and enjoyed the episode that the character came from then I am more inclined to think about buying it more.
-
Which greatest event do you mean surely not the casino event? This mini event is much better than that. If we are talking greatest events start at Stone Cutters, Super Heroes and Whacking Day and continue working down :D

I'm guessing that comment is tongue in cheek....

No but there a couple of bunnies....

Wait....

This.... :)

I agree with the OP. I lost interest in this event from the beginning, pulling a virtual handle on a virtual gambling machine reminded me of games when I was a kid which I got bored with after ten minutes. Events used to be better spread out and had real content, I also enjoyed the pressure to complete . The prizes in this…

It makes me feel uneasy as well. I preferred the status quo where I struggled to get the odd morsel but I knew where I was not that I am refusing donuts of course
