I'm having the same issue too. I even noticed it when I catch a grem-alien in my town, and it doesn't update that either.

Question: Is there a cap on the number of invaders you can acquire through the current game? I upgraded my two of my castles to increase production by 5 nerds, and I'm still at the same number I was at prior to the upgrade.
