The game is not written by EA, so it was not they who mentioned you. EA only conveyed the writer's sentiments toward you. The reference is actually a little more flattering considering who writes the game, but it doesn't mean EA care what you say.

You still have to complete the main questline up until that point. What quests are you currently working on? This game is more linear than level-based. There are some exceptions, but a good portion of it requires you to do everything in order.

While Christmas was tedious and Whacking Day was a nightmare, last Halloween was quite easy. Most people got done within the first week using minimal effort.

Once the bonus level XP goes back to a reasonable amount, you can buy a lot of weather stations (not sure what the current favored item is) and get 1-3 donuts.
