I land on the splash screen and the donut just spins and spins and spins. I tried rebooting my device but no luck. Is this one of those, uninstall reinstall situations?

I think the patch is what was tripping me up. I had to uninstall and when I went to reinstall I got a message asking if still wanted to install as it was now larger.

Also the Wise Guy has a task there...I think check plumbing, but you have to have him near the house before you send him, otherwise he just goes to whatever house is closest to him at the moment to you tap.

I haven't worked for seven months, so naturally the Halloween event would start next week, just as I go back to work. D'oh!

I just grow corn year round. When the last batch was harvested, I did the math and realized that it would be done for Christmas.

Everybody has been going to the hospital except for Dr Hibbert's Dad, who always goes to the library. No idea why.

I have 145 free land tokens. I never use them. I still have plenty of land to buy for in game cash. It bums me out to get them as a prize.

Please, not one of those was a major event. They were all long minis. They all had the exact same game play, send 8characters on the same 4hr task until you reach 100, get a prize. Repeat.

I got the Fire 8 just recently because my original 2nd gen kindle could no longer get updates to the game. So far, no issues.
