Will there be a Level 60? Here's the framework that you need to think about to answer that: Maximizing per-player play time is the key to maximizing game revenue. The more time that each player spends playing the game, the more opportunities there are to generate revenue (i.e., sell donuts). The default gameplay is…

At least you didn't speed up the income tax for the Simpson house 50 times.

If you're a religious (wo)man, pray that your god smites Krustyland, that the earth it stood upon is salted, and that we never speak of it again.

Maybe!

Of course, you have to be *completely* leveled up for this to work, so if you did the sensible thing and never upgraded your business centers beyond Level 4 due to the ridiculous number of resources needed to get to Level 5, you're stuck.

After you do 20, you have to do 80.

All this new limited-time, premium stuff is there PRECISELY to get players to spend their donuts before Black Friday. :?

Probably none. There's no likeness of the actor being used in the drawing of the character. I don't know about the Jackie Mason thing, but if they did, it was probably just as a courtesy to him. Similarly, Hartman was a particularly beloved guest cast member whose untimely death hit the production team hard, so they've…

I will never spend donuts on NPCs, period.

Wow, I had no idea that was a limited-time item. Making the Native American available for thanksgiving seems a little ... insensitive ...

I only judge events by two criteria: 1) free donuts, and 2) new buildings/characters. On count 1, this was the best event since the first Christmas event. On count 2 ... meh, although if you didn't have Hugo and Kodos, this was pretty good for you. In sum, 3-and-a-half stars.

1) Yes, wait for the Black Friday sale. 2) Your Springfield isn't really a Springfield without the "Springfield" sign/moutain. 3) The oldest stuff (Hank Scorpio, Duffman, Frink, Otto) are still the best characters and best value. 4) That said, spend it on something that's meaningful to you and reminds you of a favorite…

Nay. I got it for free when it was offered in the first Halloween event. I always keep it in storage except at Halloween.

I'm going to put mine in a low-fee mutual fund that I can cash in when I retire.

There's always a new level during events because more people are playing more often, which means there are more opportunities to generate revenue (i.e., sell donuts) from the game.
-
What if you already have those characters/buildings?

Reminds me of this: Homer: This is where all the hard work, sacrifice, and painful scaldings pay off. Employee: Four pounds of grease... that comes to... sixty-three cents. Homer: Woo-hoo! Bart: Dad, all that bacon cost twenty-seven dollars. Homer: Yeah, but your mom paid for that! Bart: But doesn't she get her money from…
