It frosts me that they have added this feature in that punishes you for game crashing, during a time when the developers are aware the game crashes all the time for many (most? all?) players. I'm all for improvement, but come on, this just kind of rubs it in that it's so unstable.

Oooooh I'm so glad you said something, because I didn't even notice there was an ambulance available. This is my real-life job so I'm pretty thrilled to see it in the game. Yaaay!! KirbyPCat

I was locked out for over a week at Thanksgiving, too. This time I kept getting the server error and I deleted the app and re-installed it fresh, and was able to get in. That didn't work for Thanksgiving but it did for Christmas! KirbyPCat

Mine has been quitting out whenever I tap Homer. It started around the time of the cool brown house, but I also had expanded my town at the same time. I just went back and took away a few dozen trees and decorations I had added, and it seems more stable now. It crashes maybe 1 in 3 times when I tap Homer instead of every…

Visiting friends is one of my favorite parts of this game! It's so interesting to see what others have done with their Springfields. Unfortunately I was one of those whose game broke with the Thanksgiving update, and in the process of trying to fix it, I removed all of my friends. Hoping to build that list back up again…

Not enough! I feel like I'm constantly scrimping and saving to buy things. This is the first time I've caught up to the game. Saving up some money in case an update is coming soon. I always seem to spend every penny on decking out my town. KirbyPCat

I took out Springfield Downs the other day, and it makes me like my Springfield much more without it there. It was really the floating dog head that bothered me.

That's wonderful news that you were able to get in! I am still locked out since the turkey balloons update. It's been over a week now. I'm in contact with EA support but they have not been able to do anything yet to resolve the problem.

Yes, I am able to log out of my broken ID, but as soon as I log back in, it crashes again. I have tried the account on other devices and it crashes on other iphones. I have one account and that one account crashes every time. I just want my Springfield back!

I am in the same boat with the same symptoms. I have also tried logging into my Springfield on another device and get the exact same Bart timeout screen, which makes me think it's directly connected to my account. I even went as far as removing all my friends to see if that would help. It's been days and days. No word from…

Same problem, the Homer and Lisa talk about Thanksgiving, and then boom the app just quits me out back to my iphone home screen. Springfield, come back!!!

Same problem and I don't think that explanation applies to me, but I may not be understanding it. Grandpa has done the stories on the couch about 20 times in a row now and as soon as he completes, he's right there with the exclamation mark to do the same one again. Cletus is rotating through different tasks. No…

I have the same problem and I already have the town hall. I'm saving up the over $90,000 needed for Nelson's house. Ha-ha!
-
Same exact problem. Grandpa won't stop having to tell his stories! It's almost close enough to a joke that I was thinking it may be intentional, but I'm getting the back-to-back Cletus too. I haven't had a crop/shop/tax cycle of tasks since before the Halloween items.

Of all the other Springfields, I think rrss0006 is the nicest I've seen. Some very clever and actually lovely vignettes in that town! -KirbyPCat

I had that too and I got a second extra piece that didn't fit and then eventually got the final fitting piece. So I have a whole calendar and then 2 extra pieces. Weird.

Oh wow, so much fun stuff to see! Some very clever city architects out there. A moat for the prison, incorporating the nuclear waste into the town, a zombie isolation zone with a maze keeping the graveyard separate from the city, messages spelled out with hedges, bring it on! And so much to look forward to as I continue in…
