You really don't need to play every hour to get everything. I play around 3-4 times a day and always get every prize.

For the Plants vs Zombie thing, it does have the 1st game so that could help and it does have some versions of Pac man however they might not be the ones you like. Or you can just not tap them and use the minigame because when you start the robot minigame it gets rid of the robots but you DO earn the items from them.
