For god sakes if you're going to make the ground and clinch so overpowering for grapplers at least make it easier to deny takedowns attempts, clinch attempts, and transitions. If you ever get into top 100 might as well throw away the striking and just pick Khabib in lightweight and throw people around. Also you'd think after 10 missed attempts the fighters take down abilities would be diminished significantly. Has no one seen the Demian Maia fight against Woodley. He was 0/21 the dude could barely change levels.

You're kidding right? This game favored the stand up... EA made getting takedowns and getting the clinch a lot tougher.. if you can't deny either, that's your flaw not the games.. if anything stamina should play more of a role in the clinch and takedowns.. I've had guys who were gassed still deny clinches and takedown attemts...
  • Lmao this guy said we have it easy, every one that was striker had to relearn how to strike games been out 2 weeks that. Every high level grappler came in and did the same thing they did in the previous game. Get into top 100 then talk, unless you are and are one of those people, wouldn't surprise me. Grapplers just love to get you down and sit there. No ref stand ups nothing. Free points. Almost impossible to get out from the bottom.

So if there is no learning curve on the ground, like there is for stand up, and being that you're a UFC 2 veteran. The problem on the ground clearly is YOU!!! Try blocking strikes and using transition fakes...
  • strikers are heavily favoured in this idk what your complaining about, its super easy to get rocks, theres double uppercut garbage, and judges favour strikers completely
  • it's way too easy to predict and deny transitions based on the game's flawed system that EA refused to address. if you want to win, just take your opponent down and spam denials
