Backspace not working

I've had issues with backspace in game for quite a while, delete didn't work nor ctrl + a to highlight everything I wrote in the chat. I caught a glimpse of someone saying that it could be an issue with image sharpening but I just brushed it off at first. Couple of days ago I disabled image sharpening in AMD setting and lo and behold no issues whatsoever, but game looks like it's drawn with watercolours. I play at 1728x1080 btw I am not playing at the resolution with lower vertical res than my monitor's native res. Is there any solution to this problem that allows me to keep using sharpening since no proper AA has been implemented in Apex?
