All game modes locked when in a party (ps5)

Same issue here. I have Xbox x and squad mate has PS5. One of us has to constantly leave, let the other select the map mode since they unlock when you’re not in a party, then rejoin. However, if you decide to play a different map mode, process starts all over. PITA. issue should be bumped up in queue cause it’s even worse when you have more in a squad. Like take the locks off altogether. Portal is still a disaster too.

Do we no off when this will be sorted out by dice 

      I'm having the same issue that everyone is explaining here. I also noticed that when any of my friends joins my party it always says the same friends name regardless of who joins. Another issue that i noticed is i no longer have throwable smoke for the support class, it has just dissappear off of the menu. My teammates have access to it though.

Same. I have crossplay on though. Second to the lock on bug, it's the most infuriating bug ever cuz I can't even experience a buggy game with friends.

Yeah at this point all my friends restarted our consoles tried every fix we could find and can’t play so I’m giving up can’t play a game I paid 70 dollars for 🤦🏼 

Servers are painfully empty because of this and games can’t be filled for those that know the work around but it’s horrible still. Also, cross play this is an issue. It worked before something happened in between updates.

It seems that the problem has been resolved for me since yesterday.

There is a temporary solution, the one that cause the locking need to quit and rejoin the party again so the leader can start the matchmaking
