I happen to live in a country with some of the strictest consumer protection laws on the planet. They haven't been sued much here, usually because of aforementioned problem of it costing so much vs 20€
But here, it's almost unheard of to have to pay the lawyers fees for the opposing side if there's any legitimate proof of misconduct by the corporation, which there is ample here.
