Crashing to desktop (Is this caused by EA App?)

I, like many others, have been experiencing a fair amount of crashing to desktop. No warning, no crashdumps, just as if we ALT + F4'd out of the game.

What I have noticed when this happens is that the EA App / Desktop is what appears to be crashing, not the game itself. My game closes, yes, but i have to re-launch the EA App as well. This has been happening multiple times a day for at least a week. Ive had it happen at least 4 times in the last hour

  • I am having similar issues where my whole computer crashes instead of just game.

Same error for me. Happens about 5 seconds into a game whenever I’m in a party squad with my friends. Can play solo completely fine.

I have noticed this as well, it appears to happen much more frequently when I am in a squad.
