DisplayFusion conflicts with Javelin Anti-Cheat causing False Positive Bans

To the Developers/Community Managers,

I am writing to report a serious conflict between DisplayFusion v11.1.1 and the Javelin Anti-Cheat system in Battlefield 6.

I originally pre-ordered the Phantom Edition and played for over 500 hours before being banned without cause. After my appeals were rejected, I decided to investigate the cause myself.

I purchased two additional copies of the Phantom Edition to conduct comparison tests. As I was certain the ban was a false positive, I isolated the issue to the only software I had recently updated: DisplayFusion (updated from v10.1.2 to v11.1.1).

Test Results:

  • DisplayFusion v10.1.2: Safe. No bans occurred.
  • DisplayFusion v11.1.1: Causes a false ban. In my testing, Javelin flagged the account as cheating after only 25 minutes of gameplay.

DisplayFusion( https://www.displayfusion.com/ ) is a legitimate monitor management utility, not third-party cheat software. Despite this, DICE has refused to lift my ban.

I suspect other legitimate software may be triggering similar false bans. I hope this information reaches the development team so they can investigate, and I hope to warn other players to avoid this version of the software to prevent their accounts from being banned.
