I also dont see the problem with players sitting on roofs. Adapt!
I welcome my opponents sitting on roofs, so they don't get in my way while taking the flag points on the ground, perfect!
If your idea of adapting is to account for more sight-lines on objective points which are already Swiss cheese in nature with how many places you can get shot from then that's not a very good one. I already have to watch 4-5 angles, Battlefield (or any shooter for that matter) is too chaotic to watch additional potential enemy player positions.
