Every time someone joins my squad we can't go into a game.

Every time my friend joins my lobby for us to start searching for a game it locks every possible thing. We've both got cross play off, we've both restarted our games and it was not happening yesterday before the week 2 missions came out. Once again another bug added in with a minor update.
