I'm using both english and korean, and whenever i try to type something in in-game chat today after the patch, the game freezes. Keybinds aren't working at all, mouse is frozen too.
I tried to reboot my desktop, repair the game in ea app, disable using Unicode UTF-8 option in my keyboard settings, still didn't fix it
my game will not let me chat at all, if i hit enter it locks screen and will never give me the respawn screen no matter what i hit....broken or disable for me but breaks my game due to the stuck ui menu. I am sorry , luv the game, but this easy menu ui/chat thing should not be an issue, and regardless of what your stats show there is a ton more cheaters in the game and id bet they are not buying it, so lock it down much tighter. Why do people get to hide their profiles and change names? You are helping them hide stop this nonsense!
When I press Enter to open the chat window, sometimes the chat window freezes.
When this happens, it sometimes fixes itself when the game ends and another map opens.
I can see everyone's messages, but I can't type.
Sometimes when I open the game, the chat window works.
It's highly likely that this happens when I temporarily switch to the Windows operating system using Alt+Tab.
You have to Alt-F4 the game! Whats wrong with you guys?!?
Started since todays update,
Have friends online, in party with them, but all my friends and other mates on PC have 0 online friends, PSN players seem ok.
In both the EA app and in-game (BF6), the friends list is not populating with online players. I have confirmed that the friends are logged in (one is a twitch streamer), however none show up.
I have logged out of the app and relogged into the app, I have cycled the permissions and cycled the online status but nothing has positively influenced the online status.

After updating the game this morning, none of my ea /bf6 friends are showing up in EA app or bf6 game. Running PC. EA store (not steam).
I played 2 games in operation Augur and both times I opened the chat the game complete freezes. I can alt tab and go to other windows, but the game its frozen and wouldn't respond to any of my inputs. All I can do is close the game and start up the BF again.
I have the exact same issue, and it's been going on for a while now ! At first I had full PC hard reboot (no black screen, no BSOD, no error messages) just PC rebooting.
Now this issues seems to have gone away. At the time I realized that I could not access chat anymore. I could see the chat, change the chat visibility, but I wasn't able to send any message in the chat, except in the main menu to my party mates only. When I tried to hit enter to access the chat, I could not type anything, but I had to click with the mouse out of the chat popup to go back to the game. Now it's all broken. If I hit enter, not only I can't chat, but I can't go back from chat popup. I'm stuck here and have to ALT + F4
