Promised Season 1 Battle Pass
Dear EA Support Team,
I pre-ordered Battlefield 6 (edition: Standard). The purchase was made directly through the EA App.
On the global launch day (October 10, 2025), I encountered an error in the EA App (outage related to the "purchase to play" bug), which prevented me from accessing the game for several hours. This issue affected all people who bought the game via the EA App and was officially acknowledged by DICE/EA.
In the official statement dated October 11, 2025 (on the EA website, Twitter @Battlefield, and the EA App launcher), it was promised that all affected players would receive compensation, including a free Season 1 Battle Pass, as well as 12 Hardware Boosters and 12 Career 60-Minute Boosters.
I am not sure if I received the boosters, and I don't really care for them, since I'm pretty sure that I will unlock everything without any additional help; however, as of today (November 1, 2025, after the start of Season 1), I have still not received the Battle Pass in my account. This issue saddens me, because on the launch day, I was forced to see how my friends, who bought the game on Steam, were having fun and sharing with me the Discord stream, while I was reinstalling the "game packages" over and over again and checking Twitter, trying to find out a workaround for the problem. It doesn't seem fair that when I preferred to be more loyal to your platform, I faced such an inconvenience as a result. And now I feel that if I do not receive promised compensation, I will not have any reason to use the EA app at all, since the trust gonna be broken after this.
I kindly request:
- Verification of my account eligibility for the compensation (pre-order via EA App and impact from the outage).
- Issuance of the promised free premium Season 1 Battle Pass.
- Confirmation of the resolution timeline if additional review is required.
