Support Specialist 2 Challenge Not Completing

Yes, this is correct for me too. You cannot throw a supply pouch in the general direction of a teammate. 
1. It must be your (green) squad mate. It will not work for any (blue) team mates. 
2. You must throw the supply pouch directly at your squad mate. 
3. Only toss a supply pouch to your squad mate once you know they have fired their weapons. 
4. Supply pouch won't work if your teammate is standing next to a medical/supply bag. 
5. It's primarily worked for me in Conquest and Domination. 
6. If you throw a supply pouch at the ground and a squad mate (who has fired off his weapons) walks over the pouch, I believe you get the points. 
7. And yes, its a pain in the **bleep**, as it has taken me multiple matches to achieve like 30. I have another 120 more squad mates to supply for so I know this task will take me unneccessary time to accomplish.

UPDATE: Finally got it to work... through Portal. It can be completed there. Only way I got it to work, played only Portal Breakthrough mode. All thr regular Multiplayer modes DO NOT WORK. Only do the Unit Challenges through Portal.

It’s fixed for me and this also seems to be the general consensus on Reddit. In order for the challenge numbers to go up you must throw a supply pouch at (into) a team mate, not next to them, not near them or in their general direction but literally at (into) them, the team mate must also have used some of his allocated ammo. So for example throwing the pouch to someone who has just spawned in and hasn’t fired their weapon won’t work or anyone who has just restocked via a med/supply bag. 

Best bet is to go on casual, find a choke point that’s being held by the other team and throw the pouches into anyone on your team that’s firing their weapons trying to breakthrough the choke point. It’s a ball ache if I’m honest but it is what it is. Hope this helps.
