The dead zone on DualSense controllers for PC is absolutely atrocious.

I'm having the same issue with my ps5 controller

omg, I was debugging it the whole day. Same problem with ps5 controller & edge controller. Works fine Steam Input.

Holy smokes, I thought I  was the only one!! **bleep**, hopefully it gets fixed ASAP. I am forced to use steam input for now, and this sole reason made me consider buying an xbox layout controller just for battlefield 6.

How did you get Steam overlay/controller working ? When I add EA App or bf6.exe as a non-steam game BF6 only ever detects the physical Dualsense not the Steam controller.

Dualsense edge on ps5. The controller aiming feels completely broken at launch its something deadzone related 100% firing range actually seems to work but in actual multiplayer sens and deadzones seem to not apply and is terrible.

Still broken as of last night. I have the dead zones set to zero and there's still a dead zone.

People who still waiting on BF6 to fix this use, try using steam input while waiting. Disable PS5(dualsense) support from steam and use steam input. With steam input, you do get Xbox layout(buttons and all) but it did feel much smoother for me. Don't forget to set steam controller deadzone to 0 as well.
