Unable to play bf6 as a squad

While playing bf6 as a squad with mates we left a game to sort loadouts etc out, but as soon as we attempted to access a game everything showed padlocks across all modes ... but as soon as we separated we could play as singles in any mode including, we both reset our ps5, turned off routers, restarted the game several times but again as soon as we joined up to play as a squad it locked every mode out. As a casual player who works fulltime plus I bought the phantom edition after playing the beta, it's become frustrating that I cant play with my online friends even in redsec.. so im assuming this is a glitch or bug which from I can see is effecting other players we even jumped over to crossplay but still no effect ....
