vehicles will not accelerate

IN caMpaigne mode, jeep will not accelerate via RT, ort any other method.  I have already uninstalled the game and reinstalled on xbox, but i cannot complete the campaIGN BECAUSE THE STUPID ACCELERATION ON THE JEEP DOESNT WORK.
