Had this issue for the first time this this past week. 

Very simple fix. 

  1. Verify integrity files on steam (This way you can open your game).
  2. Open Bf6 folder and find the ea anti cheat which will be a blue icon. Keep this folder as your game is loading up. You'll realize the new modified for ea anti cheat installer.
  3. Start up your game and then you'll notice the modify date will be the of, run that one as administrator and it'll save it

I realized that if you don't do this, you'll end up with the same old ea anti cheat file with an old date. 

I've had 0 issues opening the game now without an issue and even after closing out the game. It's a very weird bug but with an super easy fix.

    Im Using EA Launcher, dont have it on steam, but fine, i can do it

    What? ok, im watching the game folder and see the blue icon.

    WTF is this instruction :D ? So i should start the EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe as administrator after i launched the game?

 

New game update today. Will test if issue is fixed

STILL AN ISSUE FOR ME

It still downloads upon 1 successful post repair launch the anti cheat from EA made on 07 march 2026

OK time to nuke this

Removed every javelin registry file i found
I also found out javelin for BF V was installed as i played it a while back
Removed, did a restart and game repair before launch.
