Anti-Cheat Causing Game to Fail to Launch or Crash

I purchased the game on Steam, and since the day I bought it, I have never been able to launch it properly. I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

Reinstalling the game multiple times

Updating my BIOS

Verifying game file integrity in Steam (Steam always reports 3 missing files, and no matter how many times I reinstall or verify, the issue remains )

Closing all background applications that could potentially cause conflicts

Despite all of this, the game either fails to launch at all, or it crashes within one to two minutes after launching.

According to Windows Event Viewer, the crash appears to be related to EA Anti-Cheat. Below is the error information I found:

Error Details: EAAntiCheatService The game f1_25.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0x1 

 

This issue happens consistently every time I try to launch the game. I would like to know if this is a known issue with EA Anti-Cheat, and if there are any official fixes or additional troubleshooting steps I can try. At the moment, the game is completely unplayable for me.

    I'm sorry to hear you're unable to play the game. The DxDiag and xml file you've provided are very helpful, thanks for that!

    Could you also share a screenshot of the error message if you're encountering any? 

    Also, the 3 missing files you see when verifying game file integrity on Steam are something that the team is aware of and is working on.

    I am having the same issue, just bought it recently in Steam but I refunded it. Then bought it again in EA 2days ago app hoping that it would run properly.

    I have tried everything that was mentioned in various forums, uninstalled a few programs that possibly conficts with AE anticheat, and even updated my BIOS.

    I planned to refund it in EA, but the refund was stricter than Steam. It was 72hrs from purchase for Steam and only 24 hours for EA app. But I didnt know this beforehand and hadnot planned ahead after trying various things to make it run.

    This problem has existed for more then 6 months already from what I recall in the forums, and it is unbelievable that there is not a clear solution yet.

    Aside from the error message I found in Windows Event Viewer, I did not receive any other error messages. However, its glad to hear that you are already working on resolving this issue.

    I hope it can be fixed as soon as possible, especially with the 2026 season approaching soon.

    I have the same issue, and reinstalling the game or verifying its integrity doesn’t help. This can occur frequently or randomly. Reinstalling the anti‑cheat hasn’t fixed the problem either.

    The event log contains the entry: ‘EAAntiCheatService

    "The game f1_25.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xFFFFFFFF.’"

    The game just crashed and no other error message appeared.

    Most likely the anti-cheat has either become corrupted or some other program is preventing it from launching correctly, so it then force closes the game.

    I would also make sure none of the following programs are running on your computer before launching the game as they've been known to clash with the anti-cheat.

    same here my steam launch keeps giving me error code 115 even tough i tried verifying game intergrity and **bleep**
