EA Javelin Anti cheat is garbage.

Both F1 24/25 wont go past splash screen, same error every time.

Started a few weeks ago and hasn't been fixed.  I am sick of EA scamming people with faulty products.

Please just fix this **bleep** nothing works tried all the suggestions from the forums plus some at this point all i got left is to try is resetting my pc.  JUST WANT TO PLAY MY GAME I SPENT $100 on.

PC is brand new with only some games on it so idk how this is possible.

Just use a anti cheat that already works stop trying to be different EA no one likes you they just tolerate you.

same after doing all I can for the past 15-20 hours I have 2 options left. Reset my PC or wait for a patch. And I surely wont reset my PC cause EA cant get a game running for everyone.

You're at least getting an error code lmao. Mine gets to the splash page, then decides to go away and refuses to launch

I'm also in your situation, but I don't have an error message though. The game just can't go past the anticheat splash screen. I treid everything possible, my only resort is resetting the entire pc but I'm not doing that for sure. If anyone find a solution please share with us since EA support seem to not care about our problems as always

    Hey fluffy_assassian,

Not sure if you are aware, but there is no direct "Uninstall" option to completely remove EA Javelin Anticheat from your system, so you need to delete some files and folders manually. This is going to be a long one, so please bare with me.

First thing you need to do is, you need to ensure that you can see all "Hidden Files and Folders" on your system.

To do so, open Windows Explorer window, and click on three dots at the top, click on Options, then click on View, and Check the option that says Show hidden files, folders, and drives. Click on Apply and Ok and close it.

Next, goto the following locations, and delete the folders as listed below:

C:\Program Files - Delete EA folder
C:\ProgramData - Delete Codemasters and eaanticheat folders.
C:\Users\Your_User_Name\AppData\Roaming - Delete EA and Electronic Arts folders.

Additionally, you can also delete F1 25 folder from C:\Users\Your_User_Name\Documents\My Games

Please beware that deleting F1 25 folder from C:\Users\Your_User_Name\Documents\My Games, will reset your graphics settings and will also delete any OSD customizations you may have previously done.

Finally, as a good practice, please Verify the Integrity of Game Files from Steam (if you have purchased the game from Steam store. Dont launch the game just yet!

Once you have completed the above steps, reboot your system and then try launching the game.

Hope this guide will help you play F1 25.

Also, please make sure that you dont use any other appplications like "Joy2Key", "AntimicroX", or any other for that matters, which the EA Javelin Anticheat will flag as a cheat, and not let the game to launch.

    Regards,
    Jensil Dsouza

    Filside,

If you have purchased F1 25 from Steam, please try out my below posted guide. I am not sure if it will help you or not, but it is definitely worth a shot.

Also, please make sure that you dont use any other appplications like "Joy2Key", "AntimicroX", or any other for that matters, which the EA Javelin Anticheat will flag as a cheat, and not let the game to launch.
