Hey all,
I’ve been stuck with this crash that began today and I’m out of ideas. Hoping someone else has hit the same issue:
- Error log (Event Viewer, Windows 11):
- Source: Application
- EAAntiCheatService
- The game f1_25.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xC0000005
- What I’ve already tried:
- Verified game files (Steam)
- Reinstalled EA AntiCheat
- Clean GPU driver install with DDU (just last week)
- Disabled all overlays (Steam, Discord, NVIDIA, MSI Afterburner, Rivatuner, etc.)
- Closed RGB/control apps (Corsair iCUE, Armoury Crate, etc.)
- Cleared EA App cache
- Disabled Windows Core Isolation (Memory Integrity)
- Reinstalled latest Visual C++ runtimes (x86 + x64, 2015–2022)
- Tried without XMP/EXPO
- System:
- Windows 11 Pro 23H2
- RX 7800XT, Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz
- Steam version of the game
Issue:
Every time I launch F1 25, the game dies instantly with EA AntiCheat logging 0xC0000005. No other errors show in Event Viewer except the AntiCheat entry.
At this point I’m thinking it’s either a deeper EA AntiCheat conflict, or something specific to my system config. Has anyone else run into this exact crash recently? Any hidden fixes I’ve missed?
Thanks in advance 🙏
