Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone has a last minute idea because I've been troubleshooting this for hours and can't figure out what's causing it.
I recently started getting severe stuttering in F1 25 where my FPS drops from around 60 to about 50 during spikes. It happens around corners and sometimes on straights, across multiple tracks. This was not happening like this before.
Things I've tried:
All mods removed and the problem still happened.
EGO Database Editor completely closed and the problem still happened.
Tested Ultra Low, Medium and High graphics settings and the problem still happened.
Ray tracing is OFF.
Verified the F1 25 files through Steam and it didn't fix it.
Completely reinstalled F1 25 and it didn't fix it.
Updated my NVIDIA driver and it helped temporarily.
Cleared the NVIDIA shader cache and this gave the biggest improvement, but the stuttering eventually returned.
Tested with other programs closed and with different Career saves and the problem still happened.
I used SERPs/BYPASS, but the issue also occurs with no mods enabled. My livery mods and tyre/sound mods don't appear to be the main cause. I also launched the base game directly from Steam and still get the lag spikes and FPS drops.
I'm on Windows 11, NVIDIA GPU, 16 GB RAM and a 144 Hz monitor.
At this point I'm wondering if anyone has experienced something similar or knows of one last thing I could try, particularly regarding F1 25 frame pacing, shaders, NVIDIA or SERPs.
