The car's base engine power seems to have decreased significantly, even when ERS is not activated. The car accelerates much more slowly than it did before, and activating ERS provides little to no additional power. The ERS battery also remains stuck at 100% instead of draining.
This makes me suspect that the issue affects both the car's normal engine performance and the ERS system, rather than being limited to ERS alone.
You have no chance in invitation events against other drivers and the AI? Are you playing on PC? What Tech Level is your car? Let me guess, more than 600? If so, your car has become slower. And with every upgrade to your Tech Level, it will get even slower—up to around 5 to 6 seconds by Level 900.
