F125 crashes to desktop after playing for 5-10 minutes. Game will freeze with audio stuck on that exact moment for 5-10 seconds before crashing to desktop with no error message. Each time it crashes I verify files and between 1-11 files consistently fail to validate. On each start of the game the EA anticheat installer runs which leads me to believe that the anticheat has some sort of issue.
I have tried the following:
- Fresh install
- Verifying files
- Uninstalling hardware settings
- Repairing EA anticheat through the EA Javelin Anticheat setup
- Ensuring PC is in secure boot
- Uninstalling just the .exe file and verifying files
- Updating windows
- Updating graphics drivers
None of these have worked and I am stuck crashing. DxDiag file is attached.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a specific fix for this issue at the moment. Since this appears to be a general crashing problem, we’ll need to go through a few troubleshooting steps to help identify the cause by ruling out potential factors one by one.
Could you let us know which steps you’ve already tried so far? Also, if you’re seeing any error messages, please share the exact wording so we can take a closer look.

EA_cuervo I have a fresh install, but facing the same challenge, how to fix this? Do you have a solution?

Hey everyone, thanks for sharing your findings.
cycotical Is there any refresh rate and fps cap that prevents the issue from happening? Or have you noticed any specific changes that you've made which caused the issue to start?

I have the same problem. After a few minutes (not always, sometimes it's fine), I'm kicked out of the game and back to the desktop. However, the game runs in the background and I can return. But it interferes with ranked races.

Have you found a complete solution?

Can confirm that F1 25 crashes reproducibly when display refresh is raised from 144 Hz to 239 Hz. Event Viewer records nvlddmkm Event ID 153 and earlier nvlddmkm Event ID 13/153 graphics exceptions at the exact crash time.
Other games are stable at this refresh rate, crash occurs on both driver version 591.86 and 595.97 (latest NVIDIA drivers). - cycotical2 months agoNew Spectator
Update
After hours of testing I have narrowed the issue down to being a driver and game interaction issue. When the game is set to a high refresh rate (240hz in this case) and a high frame rate cap (240fps) the game crashes, will test lower refresh rates to get an exact cutoff, but for some reason the game does not like the higher refresh rate. I am on driver version 591.86 for NVIDIA, I am aware that the drivers are out of date, I rolled them back to see if that would solve the issue. I will test more tomorrow and see if the latest drivers work or not.
