Pad problems

I totally agree and everything is corresponding with my personal experience on F1 25. I'm also adding that pad is experiencing force feedback voids in certain tracks during 50% races. 

Anyway, I may also suggest that general force feedback has to improve in vibration under braking. I've been saying it since the beta testing sessions. Car is extremely unpredictable when going under braking due to lack of proper vibration. Please do something about it.

Note: I'm an highly experienced driver, racing online since 2018 with the strongest competitive drivers (psgl drivers) so listen carefully when somebody who has an high level of concerne of the game is keeping saying that this problems should be solved, otherwise there's no way we should play the game apart from offline career which I'm not very keen to. The game can clearly detect which player is using a controller and who is using a steering wheel. On one hand, the game automatically recognizes the hardware being used in the settings.

Another proof: in last year’s game, some drivers used software that made the steering wheel appear as a controller, giving them a grip advantage that was actually intended only for controller users. 

Just google it – there are plenty of reports about it. ;)

100% aggree with this one, i feel like pace wise on equal conditions, its fine. Some People are just aliens in this game. Last season i was constantly at the front, quali like 2-4 tenths away from the Pace. This game sometimes over a whole second slower in Quali (Again, can also just be the aliens), but in the Race... My Mate and i compare tires and he on the wheel has 20% less wear. He can drive the onestop, i am FORCED to go for a 2 stop as i will puncture the tires on a onestop....

Well they have to do something, you can't just leave it like this because they are reluctant to change things. That's in no way good enough. And yet again another absolutely horrendous blunder not noticed by the team. Did they think that pad players were not going to compete against wheel players? Unbelievable! Tyre wear on a pad is catastrophic. Fix it please.

I'm also noticing track temps have an impact on tyre temps and wear ive setup up two different online lobby's with same settings apart from weather... Lobby 1 practice (Dry time of day dusk) Lobby 2 (Dry time of day dusk but cloudy) and tyre temps are easier to handle with the track being cooler. More testing needed but I use pad with no assists track I tested on was Saudi Arabia. So in hindsight if my tests are right the design team back at codies are on the right track with this but using dry midday (same as TT) settings in online 25% 35% 50% and 100% multiplayer is absolute brutal on tyres for atleast me on pad. 

The underlying system is still the same, just due to higher wear rates any little imperfection is magnified and registers as more "damage" against the tyre. Since pad is inherently a less precise control system it's going to be more noticeable for pad players.

It's simply not right, in all F1s the wear was the same and on F1 25 it wasn't, this thing doesn't make sense

The real question EA should be asking is why this wasn’t an issue in previous games but suddenly is now. 

The changed it on purpose because people complained about races always being a 1 stop strategy so they tried to induce more pit stops. Pad players just notice it more since it's easier to be smooth on a wheel.

I don't see them changing it as that would require them to adjust the AI and from what we've seen with other issues is that they're very hesitant to makes changes to the AI in the middle of a games cycle.

Well since F1 isn’t a sim but a sim arcade they should give everyone the same chances to be fast
