The AI race starts are so bad

+1 on this. 

Ridiculously easy at the race start. Went from 10th - 2nd in Aus and just went 16th-9th in China sprint. There initial getaway is fine but they're very slow to put down the power. 

Yup. Started from 7th in Australia, and I was 2nd after the first corner.

I think this is due to the fact that in this opus the AI do not start with optimal tires temperatures (please do not change that). They start the formation lap with 70°C tires and lose more than 10°C during it. AI should be able to heat their tires during formation lap a little around 80°c as a human player would.

Very true. I started 10th in Bahrain, and it’s lights out and away we go for me only! I jump up 6 places before the first turn, and by the end, I finish first. AI in the wet are way to overpowered though.

They update this in the community raised issues page this morning, it is now awaiting patch.
